What did we learn in Semester 2?



Objectives:
Independent: Students will show their mastery of information learned during semester 2 by completing a final with at least 80% accuracy.

Standards:
CA State Standards 8.4 - 8.11
R.1 - Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly
ELD B.6 - Read closely to determine how meaning is made
Do Now (Voice Level 0) 5 minutes:
Take out your study guide, and if your class has earned it your cheat sheet.
Put up your testing folders.

Whole Group (Voice Level 0) 5 minutes:
Testing expectations

Independent (Voice Level 0) 40 minutes:

Early Finisher? Do something silently. Keep your testing folder up so you are not distracting other students!

At the end of this station, complete the "next steps" portion for that station's objective. If you met the objective, write "none" in that box.

You're done!

Guiding Question:   What debate existed over adopting the Constitution?  Objectives: Collaborative:  Students will understand the debates between Federalists and anti-Federalists by reading, answering questions, and writing a constructed response with at least 80% accuracy. Independent:  Students will understand federalism by reading and answering questions with at least 80% accuracy. Standards: 8.3.7 Describe the principles of federalism, dual sovereignty, separation of powers, checks and balances, the nature and purpose of majority rule, and the ways in which the American idea of constitutionalism preserves individual rights.
