How did the South initially react to Reconstruction? 


Objectives:

Collaborative: Students will investigate Black Codes by reading, writing summaries, and responding to a writing prompt with at least 80% accuracy.
Independent: Students will learn more about Reconstruction by reading and answering questions with at least 80% accuracy.
Standards:
8.11 Students analyze the character and lasting consequences of Reconstruction.
