How can we improve our communities? 


Objectives:
Collaborative: Students will be able to address an issue in their community by working on two action steps and completing a slides presentation with a score of at least 3 out of 4.

Independent: 
Students will outline and write a rough draft of a letter to their representative with a score of at least 3/4.



Standards:
8.3 - Students understand the foundation of the American political system and the ways in which citizens participate in it.
RH.6-8.2 - Determine the central ideas or information of a primary or secondary source
