How did technological developments change life in the North? 


Objective: 
Collaborative: Students will research developments in technology by completing a differentiated webquest in groups with at least 80% accuracy. 

Standards:

Do Now (Voice Level 1) 5 Minutes: 
Rewrite today's objective on your tracker. 

Whole Group (Voice Level 1) 5 Minutes: 
How to translate Morse Code. 

Collaborative (Voice Level 0) 37 Minutes: 
Task 1: Translate your Morse Code clues as a group
Task 2: Use your clues to go to the correct sources for your questions using this website. 
Task 3: Answer the questions in your table groups. 

Early Finishers: Watch CNN, Play Free Rice. 

Exit Ticket (Voice Level .5 - 1) 2 minutes: 
Make sure you've completed your objective tracker, including adding + or - sign on your calendar. 

Homework: 
Use this time to complete any missing assignments.
