What were some of the most significant battles in the American Civil War?


Objectives: 
Collaborative: Students will understand key battles during the American Civil War by completing a gallery walk with at least 80% accuracy. 

Standards: 
8.10.6 - Describe critical developments and events in the war, including the major battles, geographical advantages and obstacles, technological advances, and General Lee’s surrender at Appomattox.
CCRA.R.1 – Read closely to determine what the text says explicitly and to make logical inferences from it; cite specific textual evidence when writing or speaking to support conclusions drawn from the text.
