Objectives:
Collaborative:  Students will understand the major events and effects of the War of 1812 by reading and completing a FlipChart with at least 80% accuracy.

Independent: Students will understand the War of 1812 by completing a webquest with at least 80% accuracy.  
Standards:
8.5.1 - Understand the political and economic causes and consequences of the War of 1812 and know the major battles, leaders, and events that led to a final peace.
RH.6-8.2 - Determine the central ideas or information of a primary or secondary source; provide an accurate summary of the source distinct from prior knowledge or opinions.

America faces off against England again in 1812. Many of the men and women who participated in the American Revolution are still alive. How do you think they’re feeling in 1812?
